I have always loved children and helping people. In high school my first job was babysitting. I worked in a hospital for a while, but after being laid off. I made the decision to do something I’ve always wanted to do. Do something where I work with children. My grandmother always wanted an Adult Day Care and encouraged me to do something similar a daycare for children.

I took the money I received from the layoff, researched and learned all I could about running a daycare and opened a family home day care in the basement of my home in 1999. I had 10 children and ran the daycare based on center based on daycare center rules and regulations. I had two classes was graded by the state as a center. My rating was 3 stars.

Outside the classroom, they enjoy baking and exploring aquariums and zoos with their spouse.
