Hands-On Learning for

Growing Young Minds

Learning is an adventure! Through hands-on activities, guided play, and creative exploration, children develop critical thinking, social skills, and confidence. This approach nurtures the whole child—intellectually, emotionally, and socially—while honoring each child’s unique curiosity and interests.

Learning Through Play and
Meaningful Discovery

At our preschool, learning is an adventure! Using Creative Curriculum, children explore, play, and grow in a nurturing environment that supports their mind, heart, and body. Every child’s unique interests are celebrated, and families are valued partners in the journey.

Our Approach: Creative Curriculum

At our preschool, we use Creative Curriculum, a research-based program designed to help every child grow, explore, and thrive. Here’s why we love it—and why parents do too:

Learning Through Play

Children learn best when they’re curious and engaged. Our classrooms are filled with hands-on activities that encourage exploration, creativity, and problem-solving.

Creative Curriculum nurtures not just academics, but social, emotional, and physical development. Children build confidence, learn to collaborate, and develop important life skills.

Every child is unique, and our teachers adapt lessons to each child’s interests and learning style. This flexible approach ensures every child can succeed at their own pace.

By fostering curiosity and encouraging discovery, we help children develop a joy for learning that lasts far beyond preschool.

Parents are an essential part of our classrooms. Creative Curriculum provides opportunities for families to engage in projects, activities, and conversations about their child’s growth.

We celebrate every child’s individuality and teach respect for different cultures, abilities, and perspectives, helping children grow into kind, empathetic people.

Creative Curriculum is grounded in decades of research, ensuring our teaching methods are effective, intentional, and designed to prepare children for success in school and beyond.

What does Creative Curriculum look like in our classrooms?

Teacher Leading Circle Time

Teachers often sit on the carpet with children during circle time to read stories, sing songs, and introduce study topics. This teacher-guided group time supports language and social skills.

Art and Craft Learning Centers

Creative Curriculum classrooms include art centers where children explore materials like paper, paint, and markers while teachers guide and ask questions to extend learning.

Hands-On Exploration Activities

Teachers support children as they explore puzzles, manipulatives, and discovery activities. The curriculum emphasizes hands-on investigation and play-based learning.

Block and Building Center

In the block center, teachers observe and guide children while they build structures and solve problems together. This supports math, spatial reasoning, and cooperation.

Movement and Large-Group Activity

Music and movement activities help preschoolers develop coordination and attention while learning through play.
